Your matchmaker is part of a dedicated team of professional matchmakers. They read your profile, ask follow-up questions after your first conversation, and keep notes as they go, so you're not explaining yourself again each time you speak.
Every introduction teaches them something. If you accept, they ask how the date went. If you decline, they ask what was off. Each introduction helps your matchmaker better understand what to look for next.
They stay involved until you've met: agreeing a time with each of you, choosing somewhere convenient for you both, and following up if the plan slips.

People are more than algorithms.
Duet Matchmaking is built into Duet, our dating app used by millions of people every week. That gives your matchmaker a much larger pool to search than the private database of a traditional matchmaking service. Duet narrows that pool based on things like location, stage of life, and relationship goals. Your matchmaker then reviews those profiles and decides who may be worth introducing.
A profile can't capture everything about a person. Talking with you helps your matchmaker understand what a profile doesn't show, and so does what you share after a date.
Because a person makes that call, we can explain the thinking behind every introduction we send.

Monthly figures are the package price divided across its length. Matchmaking sits alongside your Duet Premium subscription, which is billed separately. Nothing is charged until you've spoken to a matchmaker and decided to go ahead. We don't charge per introduction, and we don't promise a set number of them.

Every situation is different. Ask your matchmaker anything you'd like to know before deciding.
Your matchmaker starts with your profile and your first conversation. Our technology then scans eligible Duet members and produces a shortlist. Your matchmaker reviews each person on it: their profile, photos, stated preferences, and what you've told your matchmaker. A person makes the call on every introduction before it reaches you, so you only hear about the people your matchmaker would personally recommend.
Yes, and you don't need to give a reason. Declining costs you nothing and doesn't affect what you're sent afterwards. Nothing happens without your yes either: we share a proposed introduction with both people and only connect you if you both agree, so no one is handed your details on the strength of one person's interest. If you do tell your matchmaker what was off, they'll take it into account for the next one.
Other Duet members, never anyone from outside the app. Every introduction is someone with a verified Duet account whose profile and photos your matchmaker has reviewed in person, and who has agreed to the introduction before you hear about it. If anything about an account looks off to us, it doesn't reach you.
From $271 a month. Three packages: three months at $416 a month ($1,249 in total), six months at $333 ($1,999), or twelve months at $271 ($3,249). They're set out in full above. Matchmaking sits alongside your Duet Premium subscription rather than replacing it, nothing is charged until you've spoken to a matchmaker and decided to go ahead, and there are no fees per introduction.
Your matchmaker tells you both a little about the other person and why the introduction was made, then handles the arrangements. They check which times work for each of you, choose somewhere convenient for you both, and help arrange the venue if needed. You'll have the time, the place and an introduction to the person before you go. Afterwards they'll ask how it went, and use your answer for the next introduction.
Your matchmaker sees your profile, your preferences and the notes from your conversations. You decide what they can pass on: sometimes that's something from your profile, sometimes it's context you've shared on a call that helps an introduction make sense. Nothing goes to another member without your agreement, and anything you'd rather keep between you stays with the matchmaking team.
